The book of Galatians is sometimes referred to as "the charter of Christian liberty."  Throughout the book, Paul fights tooth and nail for the doctrine of justification by faith alone in Christ alone.

There were those in the church who based their standing with God on their spiritual performance.  They, like us, need to continually hear the liberating message of grace that we are not justified by some code of laws, rituals or faulty religious rules passed down to us from others, but ONLY through faith in Jesus Christ.

​

Let's pray as a church that Christ would help us release those things that enslave us in the Christian life rather than give freedom to our souls.  Faith in Christ alone brings freedom to live everyday for his glory.
